Clean Air Coalition

With the recent strengthening of the National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS) for ground-level ozone, the Greater New Orleans Area is on the cusp of falling out of attainment for ozone. Using the example set by the Baton Rouge Clean Air Coalition and with the assistance of LDEQ, RPC formed Greater New Orleans Clean Air Coalition. This is a coalition of local governments, state environmental agencies, relevant trade associations, businesses, industries, and ports who convene with the goal of finding the most effective ways to improve air quality, specifically focused on ozone.

Unless noted otherwise, meetings will be held at the RPC (10 Veterans Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124) from 10-11:00am on the following dates:

  • Wednesday, January 10, 2018 – Location: Port of New Orleans
  • Wednesday, March 28, 2018
  • Thursday, June 14, 2018 – Location: Marathon Petroleum
  • Wednesday, October 10, 2018 - Click here for Agenda
