and or download the PDF file About the Study: The Metairie CBD Land Use and Transportation Study was a joint planning effort of Jefferson Parish and the Regional Planning Commission. This study was part of a regional initiative to gather data on existing land use and to project future land use for analysis in a Geographic Information System (GIS). Land use transportation studies are developed to relate Parish Comprehensive Plans and related developing land use to the transportation system. The land use transportation study process brings together local parish planning directors, major public and private agency staff, and community groups for the purpose of synthesizing existing and projected land use data. |
