Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP)
The Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP) guides the Regional Planning Commission’s staff activities throughout the year. RPC lists all of the transportation studies and planning tasks it plans to undertake in the UPWP, such as data collection and analysis, public outreach, preparation of long-range and near-term transportation plans, as well as supporting studies, and resulting products.
The UPWP also lists all federally funded studies as well as relevant state and local planning activities conducted with federal funds. Funding sources are identified for each project as well as the agency responsible for each task or study. The UPWP is updated on an annual basis.
