Funding for Louisiana Regional Transit Projects, RPC Presentation, and Information on the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009

The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (i.e., the Federal Economic Stimulus Bill), provides $430 million in highway funding and $66 million in transit funding for Louisiana.

Regional projects requesting funding through the LaDOTD have been included in the New Orleans Regional Transportation Improvement Program 2009-2012.

To facilitate public access to this information, a listing of the qualifying projects and their descriptions, as well as an overview of the ARRA program, is provided on the web site of the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development:
