Notice is hereby given that the Regional Planning Commission is requesting qualification statements from firms interested in submitting proposals for the following project.

The purpose of this study is to update its travel demand model (model) used for long-range strategic planning, project/sub-region/corridor-based analyses, and other transportation and land use related tasks. Requirements for the model are outlined under Project Requirements and Specifications, and high-level tasks are provided under Project Scope of Services.

This is a negotiated lump sum contract with a compensation range between $550,000-$700,000. All interested firms are invited to submit their qualifications for undertaking the above study. Please note it is the vendor’s responsibility to subscribe and frequently check our procurement website for any and all possible addenda that may be issued.

Credit for DBE participation will be limited to the firms certified pursuant to the Louisiana Unified Certification Program.  For convenience, DOTD provides a list on its website (http://www8.dotd.la.gov/UCP/UCPSearch.aspx) of firms that have been certified as eligible to participate as DBEs on US DOT assisted contracts.

Qualification statements are to be submitted on MPO Standard Submittal Form “Proposal to Provide Consultant Services”, for the prime and each sub-consultant.
