Draft Transportation Improvement Program Available for Comment
The Southeast Louisiana Regional Planning Commission is seeking public input on the proposed Transportation Improvement Program for Fiscal Years 2027–2030.
The Transportation Improvement Program, commonly called the TIP, identifies transportation projects expected to receive federal funding or require federal approval during the four-year program period. The proposed program includes investments in roadways, bridges, public transit, bicycle and pedestrian facilities, transportation safety, freight movement, system preservation, and regional resilience.
Review the Proposed Program
Community members, local governments, transportation providers, businesses, and other interested parties are encouraged to review the proposed TIP and provide feedback.
Public comment period: August 6th, 2026 through September 7th, 2026

What Happens Next?
Following the public comment period, the Commission will review all comments and consider whether revisions are needed before taking action on the proposed Transportation Improvement Program. A summary of comments and responses will be included in the final public participation record.
The Transportation Policy Committee of the RPC is expected to consider adoption of the TIP at its meeting on September 8th, 2027.
