Draft Transportation Improvement Program Available for Review
The Regional Planning Commission for Jefferson, Orleans, Plaquemines, St. Bernard, St. Charles, St. John the Baptist, St. Tammany and Tangipahoa Parishes (RPC) is currently developing the Transportation Improvement Programs (TIPs) for the Mandeville-Covington, New Orleans, Slidell, and South Tangipahoa urbanized areas. This document helps prioritize transportation projects in the urbanized area. Projects listed in the TIP have been identified for implementation within the next four Federal Fiscal Years (FFY 2023-2026)
The Draft TIP is currently available to view and public comments can be submitted via the RPC website at www.norpc.org. Comments may also be submitted to: RPC, 10 Veterans Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124. Copies of the draft document can also be found at libraries throughout the region. Click here for list of libraries
Public comments received by September 9, 2022 will be incorporated in the final version of the document. All other comments will be addressed by RPC staff as they are received. The RPC’s Transportation Policy Committee will receive public comments and consider approval of the TIP at its regular meeting on September 13, 2022 at 12:30 PM.
