OFFICIAL NOTICE OF MONTHLY MEETING of the REGIONAL PLANNING COMMISSION FOR JEFFERSON, ORLEANS, PLAQUEMINES, ST. BERNARD, ST. CHARLES, ST. JOHN, ST. TAMMANY and TANGIPAHOA PARISHES and the POLICY COMMITTEE of the REGIONAL PLANNING COMMISSION FOR JEFFERSON, ORLEANS, PLAQUEMINES, ST. BERNARD, ST. CHARLES, ST. JOHN, ST. TAMMANY, and TANGIPAHOA PARISHES.

In accordance with RS: 29:721 and Proclamation 85 JBE 2021. The regular meetings of the Regional Planning Commission
and the Policy Committee of the Regional Planning Commission for the month of June 2021 will convene In person on Tuesday, June 8, 2021.

All meetings commence at 12:30 P.M.

Per CDC guidelines dated May 13, 2021, as well as directives for the Governor’s Office and the City of New Orleans, masks and physical distancing are no longer required for those who have received a CDC approved COVID-19 vaccine and are two weeks past the final vaccination date (i.e. “fully” vaccinated as defined in CDC guidelines).  As such, masks and room occupancy limits are no longer mandated.  Persons who are not fully vaccinated are urged to wear a mask until they are fully vaccinated.  Persons not vaccinated are urged to follow guidelines from the CDC as described in the following link: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/daily-life-coping/participate-in-activities.html
