The Regional Planning Commission follows all federal and state laws and guidelines for procurement. As such, all entities pursuing contracts with the RPC need to complete Standard Form 24-102.
The Regional Planning Commission follows all federal and state laws and guidelines for procurement. As such, all entities pursuing contracts with the RPC need to complete Standard Form 24-102.
In accordance with the regulations of the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT), the RPC has a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) to ensure equal opportunity to participate in and receive DOT assisted contracts. The following are RPC policies pertaining to working with DBEs:
To ensure that such opportunities are available, RPC has established a DBE goal of 21% for Fiscal Years 2021-2024.
It is also incumbent upon any entity who receives a contract from the Regional Planning Commission to comply with all regulations associated with Title VI.
The Regional Planning Commission participates in a Unified Certification Program (UCP), as required by 49 CFR Part 26.81. All DBEs wishing to be recognized by RPC must be registered members of the Louisiana UCP.
