Notice is hereby given that the Regional Planning Commission is requesting qualification statements from firms interested in submitting a proposals for the following projects:




Transportation Alternatives Evaluation
Regional Planning Commission
(Task A-2.15; FY-15 UPWP)

Scope of Work

The purpose of this project is to provide technical assistance to DOTD, Orleans and Jefferson Parishes on development of alternative lighting concepts to enhance traffic safety, reduce operating costs, and improvement of transportation aesthetics on the US90 and US90B Mississippi River Bridge crossings.

This is a non-negotiated, lump sum contract in the amount of $50,000. All interested firms are invited to submit their qualifications for undertaking the above study. A minimum DBE participation rate of 21% is required for this project.

Submit your qualifications on Standard Form DOTD 24-102 on a CD as one PDF file AND one paper copy of your qualifications for each project. Instructions for filling out this form can be found here. Qualifications must be submitted prior to the 12:00 noon deadline on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 by hand or mail addressed as follows:

Scope of Work

The purpose of this study is to provide enhancements, using a complete streets approach, to two Jefferson Parish subareas. One subarea consists of the neighborhoods surrounding and including Oakwood Shopping Center, including parts of the City of Gretna and the second subarea consists of the Metairie Road corridor from Arlington Drive to Severn Avenue.  

This is a non-negotiated, lump sum contract in the amount of $60,000. All interested firms are invited to submit their qualifications for undertaking the above study.

IN GENERAL, consultant selections are made at the first Regional Planning Commission (RPC) meeting that follows the submittal due date.  RPC selections are posted to the website following the meetings, which are held on the second Tuesday of each month.
