Notice is hereby given that the Regional Planning Commission is requesting qualification statements from firms interested in submitting a proposals for the following projects:






Infrastructure Inventory and Condition Assessment
Veterans Boulevard Corridor, Kenner, Louisiana
(Virginia Street – Belleview Boulevard)
US Department of Commerce (EDA) Grant No. 08-83-04836.1 RPC Project SLE3Su-Kenner

Scope of Work

The purpose of this project is to assess current and anticipated infrastructure needs along the Veterans Boulevard commercial corridor extending between Virginia Street to the east and Belleview Boulevard to the west, located immediately to the north of the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport.

This is a non-negotiated, lump sum contract in the amount of $60,000. All interested firms are invited to submit their qualifications for undertaking the above study.

Pedestrian and Bicycle Design and Pedestrian Accessibility Workshops

and Community Education Program, Phase V (2015-2016)

Scope of Work

This workshop is intended to provide participants with an understanding of pedestrian and bicycle planning and design and an understanding of how to apply the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act to pedestrian facilities.

This is a non-negotiated, lump sum contract in the amount of $42,800. All interested firms are invited to submit their qualifications for undertaking the above study.

This workshop is intended to provide participants with an understanding to effectively balance the needs of all roadway users by designing, constructing, operating and maintaining rights-of-ways as Complete Streets for all users.

This is a non-negotiated, lump sum contract in the amount of $34,000. All interested firms are invited to submit their qualifications for undertaking the above study.

IN GENERAL, consultant selections are made at the first Regional Planning Commission (RPC) meeting that follows the submittal due date.  RPC selections are posted to the website following the meetings, which are held on the second Tuesday of each month.
