Notice is hereby given that the Regional Planning Commission is requesting qualification statements from firms interested in submitting a proposals for the following projects:


Stage 0 Feasibility
Access Management and Complete Streets Improvements for
US 90 and LA 611 from Causeway Boulevard
to the Jefferson / Orleans Parish Line

Scope of Work

The purpose of this project is to identify improvements needed within the study area to facilitate expansion of the Ochsner campus.  The study area is bound by Earhart to the North, River Road to the South, Causeway to the West, Montecello to the East and La 611 (River Road) between Causeway Boulevard and the Jefferson / Orleans Parish Line which includes the US 90 Corridor.

This is a non-negotiated, lump sum contract in the amount of $290,000. All interested firms are invited to submit their qualifications for undertaking the above study. A minimum DBE participation rate of 21% is required for this project.

Submit your qualifications on Standard Form DOTD 24-102 on a CD as one PDF file AND one paper copy of your qualifications for each project. Instructions for filling out this form can be found here. Failure to submit all of the information required on the Standard Form DOTD 24-102 for the prime and each sub-consultant will constitute a non-response. Scope of Work

The purpose of this project is to conduct a Stage 0 Feasibility Study for further development and extension of the pedestrian and bicycle facilities of the Westbank Mississippi River Trail project in St. John Parish.

This is a non-negotiated, lump sum contract in the amount of $95,200. All interested firms are invited to submit their qualifications for undertaking the above study. A minimum DBE participation rate of 21% is required for this project.

IN GENERAL, consultant selections are made at the first Regional Planning Commission (RPC) meeting that follows the submittal due date.  RPC selections are posted to the website following the meetings, which are held on the second Tuesday of each month.
