Notice is hereby given that the Regional Planning Commission is requesting qualification statements from firms interested in submitting a proposals for the following projects:


Stage 0 Feasibility
Lindberg Drive Improvements
Slidell, Louisiana
(RPC Task SL-1.17, FY-17 UPWP)

Scope of Work

The purpose of this study is to identify potential improvements along Lindberg Drive on its approach to the signalized intersection at US 190 (Gause Boulevard) to reduce congestion and promote efficient traffic flow.

This is a non-negotiated, lump sum contract in the amount of $45,000. All interested firms are invited to submit their qualifications for undertaking the above study.

Qualification statements are to be submitted on Standard Form DOTD 24-102, “Professional Engineer and Related Services Questionnaire for Specific Project.”. Submit your qualifications on Standard Form DOTD 24-102 on a CD as one PDF file AND one paper copy of your qualifications for each project. Instructions for filling out this form can be found here. Failure to submit all of the information required on the Standard Form DOTD 24-102 for the prime and each sub-consultant will constitute a non-response. Qualifications must be submitted prior to the 12:00 noon deadline on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 by hand or mail addressed as follows:

* The Regional Planning Commission participates in a Unified Certification Program (UCP), as required by 49 CFR Part 26.81. All DBEs wishing to be recognized by RPC must be registered members of the Louisiana UCP.

IN GENERAL, consultant selections are made at the first Regional Planning Commission (RPC) meeting that follows the submittal due date.  RPC selections are posted to the website following the meetings, which are held on the second Tuesday of each month.
